Model buying guide
A Qashqai can be petrol, diesel, manual, CVT, two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Establish the version first, then use the test drive, service file and MOT history to investigate relevant patterns.

CVT behaviour differs from a stepped automatic, but pronounced judder, delay or warning messages need specialist assessment.

The journey pattern matters as much as mileage. Do not assume a motorway-used diesel and a short-trip diesel have had equivalent use.
2014–2021
Low battery voltage can create multiple symptoms, but it should not be used to dismiss unexplained warnings without a diagnostic check.
A common pattern is not a forecast for one car. Maintenance, previous use and repair quality matter. Read the MOT history in order, compare it with the advert and service file, and ask for invoices rather than relying on “all sorted”.
